The film is about a group of five spies from various countries who must overcome distrust of one another to stop a terrorist organisation from using a device to start a global world war.
It’s an action-packed film with some brilliantly created fight and chase sequences. Despite one or two glaring plot holes, quite a few movie cliches, and some unnecessary slow patches, the film is actually very engaging. Seeing the main cast take on action roles traditionally given to males is great, and there is a nice balance between aggression and emotion in the characters.
Despite negative reviews and a low box office in the US, I enjoyed this film.
