Movie Review: The Portable Door

This is the story of a young man down on his luck who thanks to a series of odd coincidences finds himself working for a strange and magical company. It turns out he has a special power and must hunt down a mysterious object to save the world.

The film has an interesting premise, and not everything is as it seems, particularly the characters which makes it an intriguing watch.

There are slow patches now and then, and a few magical movie cliches, but there are moments of action and definite tension that keep you in suspense as well as great special effects.

The best part of the film is the cast, all of whom  are excellent and deliver a wide range of interesting characters.

So how did I score it?

Acting   8 /10

Story/Script 7 /10

Cinematography    8 /10

Set/Costumes   8/10

Entertainment   7/10

That gives The Portable Door an average score of   7.6 / 10
