Colt Seavers, is a battered and past-his-prime stuntman who finds himself caught up in a murder mystery when the star of the film he’s working on goes missing. To complicate things, Colt’s ex girlfriend is directing the film.
Press play to watch the review:
The Fall Guy is a mix of rom com, murder mystery and action film and is a film with in a film. What works really well are the special effects and numerous inevitable chases in cars, helicopters and boats. It is very well filmed, at times funny, and has some nail biting fight sequences.
While it is very entertaining, it is a bit obvious and some scenes are a little dull and silly. But as it crosses a number of genres it doesn’t matter all that much.
