Movie Review: The Apprentice

The film explores Donald Trump’s career as a real estate developer in the 1970s and 80s and his relationship with lawyer Roy Cohn.

This is a fascinating film about the former President before his TV celebrity life and paints a pretty damning picture of the man and his lack of values. The acting is well done and both Sebastian Stan as Trump and Jeremy Strong as Cohn give impeccable and mesmerising performances. The film feels like a fly on the wall documentary but also a comedy.

I suspect that people who like or loathe Trump will find things that please and appal them.

So how did I score it?

Acting  7 /10

Story/Script  7 /10

Cinematography   7 /10

Set/Costumes  7 /10

Entertainment value  7 /10

That gives The Wild Robot  an average score of  7.0 / 10
