Rutene Spooner is a talented man, he’s a comedian, a singer with the Modern Māori Quartet, he makes documentaries and loves cabaret. His new solo show is called Be Like Billy, a big band tribute to his idol Billy T James and to the show tunes Rutene loves.
In this interview with Andrew Whiteside he shares his mischievous side, his respect for Billy T, and his go to comfort food.
