Art in the City is an annual programme that comes to Auckland City each spring. It sees installations of artworks by kiwi artists throughout the city, and it is free. So between and the middle of October, you can see over 100 installations, exhibitions, guided walks, talks, markets, workshops and performances.
One of the artists presenting work is Anna Hanson who has just put up a large piece of art in Auckland’s Jean Batten Place. I managed to chat to her about Art in the City and her installation.
