DECULT is the first Cult Conference to be held in New Zealand and will consist of workshops and talks with experts on cults and cult survivors. It is being held in Christchurch on the 19th and 20th of October 2024.
One of the organisers is Anke Richter a German writer and journalist who now lives in New Zealand. She is the author of the book Cult Trip which tells of her personal investigations into cults in New Zealand and Asia.
In this interview with Andrew Whiteside she discusses her book and makes the bold claim that all of us are vulnerable to the devastating effects of cults.
