What We’re Made Of’ is a powerful and original new physical theatre work, created by six extraordinary emerging artists from their own unique stories and experiences.
What are the things that make us up? Why do we do the things we do? Can we really make a difference?
Mapping an exhilarating journey through enormous space, the collisions of our messy modern world, and the importance of tiny personal treasures, the ensemble dives into big questions with playful curiosity and bold exuberance.
Bravely performed by a tight-knit ensemble and accompanied by stunning visual imagery and an eclectic musical soundtrack, ‘What We’re Made Of’ lands on the Māngere Arts Centre and ONEONESIX stages in August 2022.
Directed by long-time Massive collaborators Wesley Dowdell and Carla Martell, and starring fresh new talent Harmony Hogarth, Pennsylvania Esera, Hone Taukiri, Millie Ripeka Manning, Asuka Kubo and Nikeidrian Peters, ‘What We’re Made Of’ will delight and inspire you.
