Adam Hattaway, of A.H. and the Haunters, brings a previously sold-out Van Morrison tribute show to Auckland for the first time.
On top of preparing for a third album release with The Haunters, Hattaway has brought together a group of close friends and professional musicians who share his love of Van Morrison. In association with Bad Gin Sanctuary and Auckland Fringe Festival, this is not your standard covers gig.
The ‘Soul Salute to Van Morrison’ goes far beyond ‘Greatest Hits’ and includes songs from albums; Astral Weeks, Moondance, Tupelo Honey, Saint Dominic’s Preview, Hard Nose the Highway, and Veedon Fleece.
Following five sold-out Christchurch shows, Hattaway’s 10-piece band, ‘The Soul Mates’, performs with passion and energy that only the Irish Knight himself could rival, appealing to everyone from the true Van fans (still waiting for an NZ-tour) to those looking for a first-time introduction.
