On 31 July 2021, Auckland Pride Festival Incorporated – the organisation that runs the Auckland Pride Festival its Annual General Meeting and published its annual accounts which showed a deficit of $79,000.
Part of that was due to an increase in expenses of $110,000. The statement of financial position for the society as of the 31st July 2021 indicates that it is in debt and liabilities are outweigh assets.
